As we step into yet another year of new targets, renewed expectations and hope, with reflections of the successes and limitations of the passing year, we would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our members who have remained an integral part of the Hepatology International through its journey all these years.

The journal, under the able guidance and leadership of Prof Masao Omata and Prof Shiv Sarin, has come a long way since its inception in 2007, establishing itself in the field of Hepatology and Biliary Sciences, earning a place in PubMed and ISI,  and achieving a distinct impact factor of 9.029 for the year 2021 .
